In this website I share some of the projects I have undertaken since retirement - or should that be 'refirement'?  If these inspire you, that's wonderful.  If I can provide any support or guidance that's Ok too.

Retirement is the beginning of the end for most blokes.  Unlike our wives and partners, who have built a support network through time, we males tend to retire and rot.

I graduated as a microbiologist and then variously worked in marketing and IT during my working years.  However, thankfully, my father gave me a lifelong interest in wood and metal work.  He was a GP - but built himself a workshop (Man Shed) that he dissappeared to on a regular basis.

Like my  father, Grump's Workshop (below) has been the  source of great pleasure and birthplace of many toys.
